GEOMORPHOLOGY WAS THE FIRST ONE MAN SHOW I HAD AT THE HIGH MAYHEM GALLERY IN SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO IN AUGUST OF 2007. THE IDEA OF THIS SHOW WAS INSPIRED BY MY OBSERVATIONS OF LANDSCAPES. I NOTICED SIMILARITIES IN THE WAY THE EARTH LOOKED FROM A PLANE AS WELL AS INSPECTING THE SURFACE DETAILS OF SMALL STONES. SOMETIMES A STONE CAN REVEAL WORLDS OF MOUNTAIN RANGES AND CANYONS.

EACH PIECE IN THIS SERIES OFFERED THE VIEWER A GLIMPSE AT A DIFFERENT WORLD. IT WAS MY GOAL TO ENTICE THE VIEWER INTO QUESTIONING WHETHER THEY WERE LOOKING TO SOMETHING UP CLOSE OR FROM AFAR, FAMILIAR OR FOREIGN.
